Mark Elliott is a travel writer specialising in lesser-known destinations. A former radio presenter, he is often to be found at travel fairs delivering passionate eulogies on the under-estimated beauty of the hospitable Caucasus. He was first captivated by the region in 1995 and over the past 18 months has visited every corner of Azerbaijan by car, 4WD, bus, train, foot and thumb with eight trips to Georgia en route for Azerbaijan with Georgia.
