| Born in Chatham in Kent, Henry Stedman didn't learn to walk till the age of two but enjoyed the experience so much that he's been on his feet ever since. Over the past ten years Henry's legs have taken him up and down the Himalaya in Nepal, the Yellow Peak Range in China, the Karakoram in Pakistan, the Chouf in Lebanon, the Cordilleras in the Philippines, the Dolomites in Italy, Gunung Leuser in Sumatra and round the Ramonafana National Park in Madagascar. Henry is the author of Trailblazer's Trekking in the Dolomites , Istanbul to Cairo Overland and Kilimanjaro – treks and excursions . He is co-author of The Rough Guide to Indonesia , The Rough Guide to Southeast Asia and the Bradt Guide to Palestine . |
